OK, Time for my input..
1) I have 2 accts, one Miner, one Hauler.
2) I did start out w/ GSC's
I now mine more in one cycle than a GSC can hold. While I enjoy the space of a jet can, I would rather mine more securely. If there was a way to gather my ore in larger piles than the current "Mine one Cycle, fill hold, fly to station, dump, return to rock, relock target, mine one cycle" TRUST ME, I'D DO IT!!!!!
But there is no other safe way. I'd enjoy having a larger Secure Can, and the ability to put it in a belt, since it's currently impossible to place a can in half the belts in Empire space within 15km of a rock, due to all the rotting and rusting cans out there now.
So, I pay for two accounts, all I ask for is a secure way to transfer the ore from one to another while in space. Find that, and I'm sure all miners will be happy. and those stinking pirates that enjoy griefing me can go suck an egg..

You look in my can, see that it's empty, and take the placeholder, that's just aggrivating, and childish [I can't take anything from you so i'll smash your pretty toy]!!
You come into the belt and push, YES PUSH my ship around the belt, THAT IS GRIEF. )
Hmm, possible solution... Enable space docking between ships. Make it take 2 minutes to connect and establish a secure "Causeway" from one hold to the other. That way people can mine more securely.
Right now, even with a Mining Corp, 10 friends, 3 gunboats.......ad infinium....THERE IS NO SAFE AND SECURE WAY TO TRANSFER ORE FROM A MINER TO A HAULER IN SPACE SHORT OF SOME WIMPY 3900M3 SECURE CAN THAT CAN'T EVEN BE PLACED WITHING 15KM OF ANY BELT IN HIGH SEC
I also was in a Mining Corp, but I refuse to be in one any longer after finding out that ANYONE can WARDEC you, and 24hrs later POD me in 1.0 space immediately after undocking from a station. To me that is entirely too cheap. That's like going on EQ PVP Server and camping East Freeport to get kills on 5 second old toons.. CHEAP and without honor..
